GREEN RIVER CLASSIC: 2025

The Green River Classic is the worlds only open registration, all-inclusive freeride mountain bike event. And as of 2024, it is now fully legal and insured thanks to a 10-year permitting deal made with the Utah Bureau of Land Management.

What started as a way for a few riders from the Fort Lewis College downhill race team to blow off some steam after the end of their collegiate season ended, has since become the crown jewel of ITHG events and a beacon of hope and inclusivity for the next generation of freeriders who gather from around the world in the desert of Eastern Utah each fall to partake in the events festivities.
